概要/Abstract

Fractal structures are common tools for performing visual effects and designing natural creatures such as trees, flowers and so on. In this paper, we present a new interface for designing structures generated by L-System from controlling parameters during the generation process. We introduce a specialized branch in rewriting rules whose branching direction is controlled by user-drawn stroke. The user can control an overall structure and a depth of recursion by drawing only single stroke. Our technique makes it possible to control the generation of L-System and improve the power of expression of L-System.
